在基面处理之前，墙体需要一定时间的养护。批刮腻子之前，应彻底清除疏松、起皮、空鼓、粉化的基层，然后去除灰尘、油污等污染物。用外墙腻子修补墙面，**道局部找平，用腻子或填缝逢胶填补大的孔洞和缝隙，待腻子干燥后，局部打磨，再满批腻子使基层平整。腻子完全干燥后，进行打磨使基层平整。浮雕层本身就是凹凸状态，对基层的平整度要求相对平涂工艺要低，可以减少打磨的遍数和细腻程度。外墙腻子为水泥体系的，同样需要进行养护，一般养护时间为14天，至PH值小于10、含水率小于10%后方可进行下一道工序的施工。

浮雕一般分为三种：单组分固体粉状浮雕、单组分膏状浮雕、双组分浮雕。其中粉状浮雕及单组分膏状浮雕应用较为广泛。施工时加水调节即可喷涂，施工完毕应以水养护至少三遍。在高温、干燥季节施工应注意一次配量小，多次调配，多次以水养护，至PH值小于10、含水率小于10%后，方可进行下一道工序的施工。单组分膏状浮雕直接施工，无须兑水稀释。双组分浮雕按照产品说明书上的比例进行配比，搅拌均匀
后再喷涂施工。 喷涂浮雕要施工专业喷斗，出气嘴直径根据浮雕点子的大小不同来选择。
